Hi flist! I need your advice! I've got my own Netflix account for the next three weeks, and then I share it with Sara and Michelle at school, so I want to start seeing more TV shows that I haven't yet. Entourage is already on its way, but I'm not sure what to watch after that.

Shows I've already watched: Supernatural, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Angel, Buffy, The X-Files, Firefly, CSI, Law and Order, Battlestar Galactica, Queer as Folk, Dead Like Me, House, Alias, and probably others that I've forgotten.

Prison Break is an awsome show. Not exactly the same TYPE of show as all the other ones you listed...but its fun. :) And season 2 starts in a couple of weeks.

Of course, you still have to finish OC season 1...

Don't get Prison Break. Between Fei and I, we have all the episodes of the first season. :) You can steal them once we get back to school.

I've been meaning to ask you what you want to watch - do you want me to wait on any of those up there? Any you particularly want to watch? I REALLY want to show you Supernatural because I do think you would love it. And I'll have the DVDs within the first couple weeks of school, EEEE :D

I think we should get some nice foreign and indie movies. Also a little Woody Allen because I am ashamed that you haven't seen any of it. And then we'll have a wine and cheese party where we discuss Rilke and neoconservatism and the challenges of living in a postmodern age. [/unrealistic expectations.sigh.]

Im confused though. The last foreign movie I watched (Banlieue 13) was not intelectual at all. Fun movie though. Although that movie might fall under potmodernism. But thats counterbalanced by the french people with guns.

I didn't mean it like that! I'm sorry! I actually thought it'd just be a fun idea but then I realized it'd be voted down or rather, that it wouldn't be something you'd actually enjoy. It makes me sad that it's not something I can share with you, that's all.

I do want some foreign flicks though which it's true aren't necessarily intellectual. I just like the variety.

you need to start Prison Break!!!1! and if you're not watching that, I highly recommend 24. BECAUSE EVERYBODY NEEDS JACK BAUER! Yeah. Doctor Who's supposed to be good, as is Entourage (haven't watched either yet, but got DW flying around here somewhere). Oh, and Stargate Atlantis is of course something.

i want a netflix too! *cries* all the similar ones we have here suck. *pouts*

Try Six Feet Under. Deep and Quirky, if you liked Dead Like Me, you'll really like it.
