Oh, don't worry about the fact that they live together, even with the age difference. It happens, trust me. *nods* Happened at my school. And oooh! I just got an idea for how it could have happened.
After they've been friends for a few weeks, maybe a month, Jensen mentions that he's looking for a roommate because his left or never showed and he can't afford to pay for a single dorm room so the university told him he had to find a new roommate or pay for the single. Jared's having problems with his roommate (hey, maybe it's like my friend's first college roommate and the guy never showers because he thinks the body's natural smell is better so Jared has to sleep with the window open and he sprays and leaves the door open when he can) and so they decide that the perfect solution is for Jared to move in with Jensen. And then Jared can wash his clothes a few times (like my friend did after she moved in with our other friend who was a few years older, lol) and voila! The story of how they became roommates even though they're not the same age. And Jensen can be checking out Jared but doesn't want to risk the friendship or lose his new roomie and Jared can be sort of oblivious but....
Oh, hell, I kind of want to write this now. But I don't know how if I'll do the boys justice so you can write it if you want, hee. Anyway, I loved this and I can't wait to see more of this 'verse. I've got a feeling I'm going to be looking forward to this as much as I do keepaofthecheez's new OTP 'verse. *g*
