The look on Sam's face at the end said to me that he know realizes he never, ever gets to be Sam Winchester with any kind of normal life. Any attempt at normality as Sam Winchester is over and it broke Sam's heart (and mine).

WORD. The look on Sam's face at the end totally broke me. There were a million of expressions there, all of it not very comforting for Sam. That's two thumbs up for Jared for beautifully conveying that.
