Yes we can heal this nation

I know someone on my flist posted "Yes, we can" icons recently, but I can't for the life of me remember who. I thought I had saved one, but apparently not because I fail! Who was it? Was it you? Cause I really want to use one of them. Found! Thanks Avia my love! <3

I keep watching the Yes We Can video and weeping openly, every damn time. I also watched his speech from yesterday, after he won again (woo!), and there were more tears! It's just. The things he says echoes everything I've ever heard from my activist friends, from healthcare to education to foreign policy. And he has a chance to lead this country. That overwhelms me so much that I am almost afraid to hope, for fear of jinxing it. But like he says, "there has never been anything false about hope."

Change we can believe in. ♥
