OH MY, I am SO sorry!!! *facepalm* I completely forgot you hadn't finished the series. Please don't read the rest of my comment, I was awful and spoilery and a total idiot. Oops. :-/
There are some mild spoilers in the end of this spam, but I don't think most of them make any sense without context. There are definitely spoilers in my Roe and Lieb spams though so steer clear!
I'm very sorry again. I will restate my encouragement then - Episode 6 is somewhat difficult, but it's more a pervasive misery and hopelessness than specific horrible events. Following Roe around is actually a really nice perspective on the Bois Jacques saga, because you see that even though he was low on supplies, he had his heart fully set on protecting all of his men and taking the best care of them he could. He forges a lovely human connection that's a real pleasure to watch, and is generally a loveable sweetheart that you want to give an enormous hug. The Breaking Point is a little more action-filled, and therefore tragic, but... still beautiful. They're very difficult episodes of television for sure, but also very worth getting through. And after everything, you have POINTS!!!, which is EASY FROLICKING IN THE SUN! (Well. Mostly.) Ahem. The point is, soldier on my dear, it's worth it. :)
(And consider me still headdesking for spoiling you. :()
