(no subject)

I had a fun night out at a couple parties that ended on a really sour note. In summary, ARGH BOYS. I ranted (with some really spectacularly bad typing - apparently tipsy + emo = bad coordination for me) at some friends and they were kind enough to talk me down, and now I'm much calmer. You know what else helped with that? SGA. I have now finished season 3, and *flail* I love this show. I reeeeeeally do. Then I went back and watched some favorite scenes/moments of John and Rodney's in particular, and now I'm much more even keeled.

I think I'll stick with fictional boys that love each other, mmkay? It's much less complicated.

Goodnight. ♥

(I chose this mood icon mostly because it's true, but also because OMG SAMMY TRIED TO KISS DEAN. *cough*)

Aw, Anne. ARGH BOYS indeed. I'm watching the original Stargate movie right now. Should I start watching SG:A? Do I have to watch SG-1 first? Or also? Because I hear a lot about SG:A on my flist but considerably less about SG-1... But yes. Fictional boys who love each other. Yay.

ARGH BOYS. It should be my motto.

Eeeer I don't know exactly what you mean by the original stargate movie. But um, in short, YES you should start watching SGA! SGA is the one that attracts more fangirls, and for good reason. I've never seen SG-1 myself, but what SGA has, for one thing, is a major slash pairing that might as well be canon - I mean, I haven't seen subtext like this since... Remus and Sirius. And beyond that, the show is pure joy - the entire cast has such wonderful chemistry. You really come to care about them. It's hilarious, too! Basically it's incredibly awesomesauce and you need it in your life, stat.

Obviously you don't need to have seen SG-1 - there's quite a few references to it, and characters make guest appearances (because the two shows shoot in the same building - haha), but they do a fine job explaining everything, and you don't really feel lost. SGA is totally the way to go :D

If you need further convincing, see icon! *ded*

The movie Stargate was made in 1994.

Oooh, he's pretty. I guess I have to start watching SG:A now. Any idea where I can find it?

Oh, huh, I didn't know that. Those are characters from SG-1, but different actors.

YAY! *beams* Well, I would actually suggest buying the first season DVDs, but if you don't want to put out, toss me an email at starlight1013@gmail.com and I'll hook you up with where to get it :)

Sorry to hear RL boys aren't working out right now. But yea! Fictional boys. They always do want we want. (Well at least in our fics.)

I think all real boys should act like our fictional boys - you know, constantly falling in love with each other, etc. They should also let us watch. *nodnod*

Fictional boys who love each other > all others.

It's true.

Also, OMG your mood theme, I had forgotten until now how aslkjdsajkk that scene was. *flails*

Oh BOYS, I totally understand. We should totally stick to fictional boys, they're so much better. Easier to handle. :D

omg that scene! I just watched it yesterday and was all OMG *dies*.
