So I saw Phantom of the Opera (the movie). And uh.... it was over the top. Corny, tedious, obnoxiously extravagant at points. Also, the guy playing the Phantom can't sing. Or rather, I don't like his voice at all. Emmy Rossum has a pretty voice but can't act all that well. Raoul was cute and had a nice voice, but he wasn't like OMG heartthrob or anything. So uh... thumbs down on that one.

OMG, I'm not alone. I completely agree. It was all too much. I couldn't believe how bad Minnie was, and I couldn't even get through the first 10 minutes of it. lol

But I did rip it, because people want me to make QAF vids to the Masquerade song, Phantom Of The Opera(Techno Dance Mix), and trailer. So eventually I will have to watch the masquerade part because I'm not that familiar with PotO story and wish to cast correctly since there is chatting in it. sigh

Anne: I totally second that, I didn't like the movie at all. It _was_ overboard, and I didn't like any of the guys really. I could see it being a good story as a musical tho, with a different cast and better stage. But I'm definitely not a fan of the movie.

theladyingreen: OMG that would be so awesome if you make qaf vids to that! Masquerade is my favorite song from the whole movie/musical. Go watch it, the part isn't that bad. ^__^
