Um.

So I went to check my bank account online, and I noticed something odd - I was charged 25.60 at CVS last weekend. What did I buy? A pack of hair ties and a pack of poster putty. Um. I'm pretty sure that didn't cost 25.60.

Crap. What should I do? Is there anything I CAN do?

Bring your receipt (but they should have a record of every transaction anyway) and show them proof of how much you were actually charaged (bank statement or something). They should be able to look it up in their records as well and see that your purchase doesn't match the bank transaction. Hope that helps.

Thanks anonymous! :) I hope I still have the receipt floating around in my room somewhere.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest bringing your receipt if you still have it. =\

did you by any chance get cash back on your debit card? sometimes i do that and get completely confused as to why a charge is $15-20 more than what i remember spending. either way, it should all be easy to clear up once you find your receipt. :)
