Trainspotting, etc
I just saw Trainspotting last night, finally (it's definitely a must-see for any Ewan fan!) and it was great! Ewan's performance blew me away, of course. He's such a *convincing* heroin addict :P It was gut-wrenching, intense, and didn't pull any punches, and was really great because of it. I don't really have any specific opinions, I just liked it. Lol.
I also can't WAIT for Moulin Rouge! to get here!!! I've been listening to/watching clips of Ewan's songs (from ewanmcgregor.com, that place is seriously my mecca) from the movie over and over and over.... his VOIcE! Whenever I really watch and get into it, I cry during Roxanne and coup d'etat every single time. When Ewan hits those really loud high notes, it's so moving! God I love him. Love love love.
Oh! I also finished RotS the novel, and this is all I have to say:
Blade-to-blade, they were identical. After thousands of hours in lightsaber sparring, they knew each other better than brothers, more intimately than lovers; they were complementary halves of a single warrior.
Um, they were so doing it. clearly. :)
Then I watched Return of the Jedi today. And it was weird to see Darth Vader (whenever he came on screen I would say "Ani!", my brother got very annoyed :P) talking abouthis ex-lover Obi-Wan. It's not like he goes rambling on about Padme or anything. It's always Obi-Wan, even at the end. And then I loved how they edited Hayden in at the end as the ghost of Ani. They didn't credit Hayden in the cast list though :(
That was a really random ramble, the only connecting thread being EWAN. Ewannnnn :)
Oh one more thing! My friend Elena just sent me three whole seasons of X-files, and I just sent her the last three seasons of Buffy, so now I have those to watch and love and enjoy! Yay! I can FINALLY see Tunguska! *dances*

I have ALWAYS wanted to see Tunguska, but I was never able to catch it on TV! Which sucks cause I love Krycek and also it's a very important ep yes? So yeahhh in a day or two, finally :)
