I hate when I'm watching a TV show that is making me feel so strongly that I just HAVE to talk about it, but because I talk to barely any of you on AIM or anything (what's THAT about?) there's almost never anyone around to talk to, so I try to ramble to someone who has no idea what I'm talking about and they're like "...dude. Shut up." Well not actually, but then my squee starts getting harshed and I have this bad habit of getting annoyed with someone when they're completely apathetic about something I love fiercely. It's STUPID and I know that but I can't help but feel that way.

This is an unfortunate side effect of having to download and watch all my shows well after everyone else. I kind of hate it.

So, in an effort to feel more connected, I want you to give me your screen names! Or just IM me, whatever. on AIM I am starsouls1013, on gmail chat I'm starlight1013@gmail.com. I'm on both of them quite often, and I love chatting with folks, so yes! And now - PICSPAM! It's been bouncing around in my head to get some screencaps from the LOTMS DVD - I've seen a few of them floating around, but they're always shrunk down significantly. So I started on Helena, intending to get a couple shots of Gerard looking gooorgeous (seriously, he looks SO PRETTY in that video *grabbyhands*) and then I ended up capping the whole video. Whoops? Then I went and did the same thing with Ghost of You. They're both so cinematic! I love them desperately, and I hope someone else will enjoy looking at these caps as much as I enjoyed making them. ~90 large caps, not dialup friendly!

The only clear cap of Frank. He's like a tornado when he's playing, it's impossible to capture a still of him!




I love this moment, when he slams into the first verse - he just looks absolutely beautiful, with his hair swept across his face. He's intensely passionate in this entire video, and it always brings tears to my eyes. "Burning out, just like a match you strike to incinerate the lives of everyone you know..."


There's going to be a lot of emoting!Gerard here. Just warning ya. Oh, I love the red and black, I really do.

His eyes are just so full of pain. It gets me in the gut.




I really love the backup dancers, but particularly this girl - it's hard to get caps of the things she does, but she catches my eye every time she's on screen. I love this moment, when she flings herself backwards. I don't know why, but I just love her.

TRUFAX, the Ghost of You vid is what got me hooked on MCR. I saw I'm Not Okay when it was on MTV ages ago, and loved the vid, but the music was just not my cuppa tea at the time. And then I saw the Ghost of You vid. And watched it approximately 13248230743123 times. And died a little inside every time, because MIKEYWAY, and GERARD, and homg. LOVE. And then I pimped the vid, and have gotten, like, 3? 4? people hooked on MCR with it. It really is amazing. And these caps are so good!

Ohman, Ghost of You is pretty much my favorite MCR song, and the video always kills me every single time. YOU'VE GOT ME TEARING UP, WOMAN. I love the scenes at the bar too, especially because the first time we see them they're all talking and laughing and sharing drinks, and then there's that one shot of Gerard just throwing himself against the bar singing while the others look down, and, just---GAH. My heart leaps into my throat.

And then, you know, they're MIKEEEEY D: D: D:

Also, I dunno why, but I've always been strangely stupid when it comes to AIM and the like. What does AIM even stand for, again? Is it just the general name for instant messaging? Haha! Oh you darling. AIM = AOL instant messenger. It's the most common IM client that people use. It doesn't work off email addresses, just screen names that are specific to AIM. MSN Messenger, on the other hand, uses email addresses - is that what you use? Or do you use Gmail chat, which is just the chat program embedded within the Gmail window? You should figure this out because I'd love to chat with you! You're pretty darn awesome, lady ;)

This is awesome! I love both of those vids... and one scene in "Helena" that I think is just another absolutely GORGEOUS shot is around 1:45... the areal view of Gerard kneeling on the ground before the dead chick wakes up. It's just stark and amazing.
