I have developed an inordinate fondness of the Hushies as of late. I still don't have an icon (I will rectify soon!) but I am so so excited to see their darling faces TWICE in August. I went trolling through their FOE photos and they are seriously so precious, guys. I can't even.




This picture was accompanied by a caption (I think by that Shallon chick) describing his face as a blend of puppydog eyes and deer-in-headlights. That's awesome. Chris! ♥

Anywhoozle, do you think I should see the Hushies/Cab tour? I honestly haven't decided yet. Mostly because even though I have tons of songs from both bands, I haven't made an effort to really listen.

Ummm, well. I ADORE the Hushies' music, like, omg, but I haven't listened to the new Cab album at all. But by all accounts they're both great live and both really friendly and precious with the fans. It's super cheap too. So my vote is yes!

I'm bummed that I spent their whole set at HCT fighting my way through the pit to find my cousin who'd gotten separated from our group, but I managed to score VIP tickets to the Toronto show in July so yaaaay.

I really haven't seen many pictures of him, it's true, but I've already got hearts in my eyes for that kid. There's a lot of great ones of him over here, the photographer seems to like him :D

Hello hello! I am indeed studying in Dublin!! I love it SO much. I have to leave in about a month and I'm already feeling queasy thinking about it. I've made the most amazing friends and have had the greatest time. I've been studying at Trinity and I live in an apartment on the south side, just off George's Street, by St Patrick's Cathedral. Where do you live in this fair city?

Also, I looked at your placeholder post on insanejournal, and eeee! LOSTPROPHETS!! I ADORE them. And I didn't know that picture was IAN kissing Gerard! PRECIOUS. And and that video for Shut Up = WIN. Lynz!! Basically, YES :D

A lot of my friends are in Trinity! What are you studying, if you don't mind me asking? I live at home about a half hour outside the city but I go to college just up the road from you, in NCAD on Thomas St!

Hmmmm, I might know a Sara, but not super well - I'm good friends with a group of people, she probably knows them... Paddy, Louise, Laura, Claire, Sharee, Jessie, Sinead, ringing any bells? If you showed me a picture of Sara, I'd probably recognize her! How weird is that, honestly?

I finish exams June 3rd and I jet off June 12th (;_;) so I have quite a bit of time in there, though I'll be on Aran Mor the 6th through 8th. It would be nice to meet up earlyish though, because then if we get along like GANGBUSTERS, we would have more time to hang out, y/y?

Hushies! OMG LOVE!!!

Chris is totally my favorite of the bunch though. Except for how I'm totally in love with Greta. I saw them play at HCT when I was in Houston with irisgirl12000 but I really really wanna see them again so I'm hoping to figure out a way to see them when they tour with The Cab.
