I'm pretty much shocked and heartbroken and angry and confused and I don't know what to do. I keep wondering what I did wrong. Everyone said I had nothing to worry about. I fell in love with that place. Apparently it didn't fall in love with me.

But! A story: I got wait listed by the same Ivy League school for both undergrad and grad school. The first time it broke my heart. The second time, I thought: "WELL. I'd rather go somewhere where they recognize my awesomeness ANYWAY."
Also, these things can be v. random. I didn't got into schools that are generally considered "better" than others I didn't get into.
i'm sorry annie :(. when i applied to grad programs i made the mistake of only applying to one, and didn't get in, so i know how you feel. but at least you have other options and know that you will always find a way to make it work. xo
