War Big Bang! Sign-ups open May 15!

So I have somehow found myself as the co-mod of a new Big Bang comm, warbigbang! :D I offered to do some graphics, then the lovely zippitgood asked if I wanted to co-mod and I was like, heck, why not! Could be a blast, and I am totally invested in getting a bunch of new fic in these fandoms. It encompasses anything relevant, especially but not limited to Band of Brothers, Generation Kill, The Pacific, and Inglourious Basterds. Basically it could be SUPER DUPER awesome and I know there are loads of great writers out there! So now I'm going to pimp it with some of my own banners, haha. COME PLAY WITH US! :D

I am waffling on if I want to sign up for this myself. So many words and then I'm gonna be gone for like 4 weeks in the middle of the writing period on top of moving to college. Gaaaaaah. And I should really work on my fics in other fandoms.

Aw. I love how like idk passionate this fandom is? I wish I was more into it, because all my favorite people are enjoying it. Also, I miss being in the same fandom as you ;____;

One of these days I will get off my ass and finally watch Band of Brothers. And seriously, I was all indifferent and shit to the challenge, because I can not write about military stuff like other GK writers can. But then! Then you said Inglourious Basterds and for serious my first thought was Iceman/Bear Jew. I mean it sounds like a superhero pairing and oh god, they'd be so amazing together. I have no idea how that would even work and I'm pretty sure NO ONE would ever read that, but damn you if I'm not considering it anyway.
