Guess who's posting from her shiny new MacBook! Oh that would be me :D It's so SHINY and BEAUTIFUL. I'm having a few issues right now, but I'm sure I'll get them ironed out. (though the front edge of the computer is awfully sharp - kinda digs into my wrists when I type. I hope.. that gets better somehow?) The presentation is MARVELOUS though - a beautiful welcome video, a gorgeous box - just so much fun. Whee!

FYI: Did you get white or black? Cause the white can get stained where your palms rest while you type (on either side of the touchpad). It doesn't happen all the time, but if it happens, Apple will replace that surface free-of-charge.

PS- Don't you love the magnetic charge port?! I think it's so cute! *glee*

Oh really, you feel that too? Is there any way of fixing it? I wouldn't have expected such a glaring design flaw from APPLE :(

I'm so glad someone else is a MacBook veteran, I can prod at you with my questions! For some reason, iTunes won't read my mp3 CD, and it also won't play the songs my brother is sharing over the network. Any idea why that might be?

Hon, sorry to disappoint, but I am in no way a computer expert. I have a full-time IT guy in my geeky husband, and it makes me lazy.

Not sure about the iTunes question, I haven't had any trouble with that myself.
