Fandom, I have a question for you.

Why isn't there any Jsquared GENFIC?? Yknow, stories about the boys being BOYS. Hanging out, pranking, goofing off on set, getting drunk, playing video games... yknow. MANLY stuff. Without all the fucking. Ya'll know I'm all for the fucking, don't get me wrong, but sometimes it's just fun to think about them without that complicating factor.

Also, GIP - I finally was able to make a few icons tonight, despite Photoshop being a total pain in my ASS, and this was my favorite. Oh, boys.

And it's 4:20 AM and I'm going to BED, yo. Jesus.

You know what kind of J2 gen fic I want to read? I want to read fic where they are silly pranksters on set and like tease the Krip about the Wincest with Sera Gamble.

Because it would be cute. And also, despite the fact that I like to read porn about them, one of the things I love most about them is that for two "straight boys" from Texas they are so affectionate with each other and unwigged by the gay. You know?

Dude, I totally agree. Every time they do their blatantly gay thing (see: near-kiss in Paley) my real first thought is "Yay! They're not homophobic!" Because that would actually be the EXPECTED thing from two down-home Texas boys, especially since Jensen's, what, a Southern Baptist or some such? But instead they're loose and fancy free and secure and it's just the most lovely thing in the world. Incredibly heart warming.

Yes yes! It's just...heartwarming also to see boys be able to be friends with each other in a loving, affectionate way like that. I grew up with lots of boys, like brother-like boys and while some of they *are* gay, they are ALL really physically affectionate with each other and it does things to the cockles of my heart. Because I find it really sad how our culture tells men that they can't express their feelings that way.

I think that's pretty much why, in a nutshell, we've all fallen completely head over heels for these boys. They're so comfortable with each other, completely unselfconscious. If anything, Jared is deeply amused by the fangirls smooshing him and Jensen together. There's no awkwardness or hesitation - they love each other, and aint afraid to show it.

My best guy friends hit on, pounce, grope, de-pants, and gay chicken each other All. The damn. Time. That's why when someone is all "Jsquared really are gay couple and and if you say they're not, then you're stooopid" (don't get me started on the IMDB boards, sheesh) I just have to laugh because yeah, they're seriously just being guys. They're comfortable around each other because *gasp* they're friends. Imagine that. *shakes head at silly youngin's*

In my recent stories, i don't show the sex too much as i did before and i want to write something as 'buddy' story as you mention in the future.

i wrote a whole little comment ficlet with the boys and was just typing the last sentence when my schleppie decided to random shut down. *curses like some madman* this was the successful icing on a cake of a truly fucked up morning.

That'd be awesome to read. No joke. I love stumbling upon Jsquared fics that have the boys being friends and joking around onset or at a bar or someone's house or in their trailer before the idea of sex even happens upon one of them (usually Jen, for some reason, but that's besides the point). And then teh secks creeps into their minds and it's suddenly herenowwhydidn'twedothisbefore?!. I'm kind of a sucker for that first time normalcy-then-craziness element. *Shrug* I don't know. The interaction between Jsquared is just so awesome to read/watch. So, yes. In complete agreeance for some Genfic.

Yes yes, I totally know what you mean! I LIKE fics that have them just being normal together. They're fun! Then of course I also like when they fall head over heels in lust for each other, but I think fic that left that part OUT would be totally fine with me.

I could really go for the JSquared genfic. I'm picky about my slash pairings and for some reason I don't like JSquared like that. I dunno what it is... but I definitely heart them as BFFs.
