So, I just downloaded Angel 5x12 "You're Welcome" and boy am I glad I did...


So I knew I had seen this ep before, but I forgot that it was the one where cordy comes back for her big exit. I adore cordy, and this episode is a lovely little farewell to her. She's spot on herself, snarky and soulful and sweet, and then the end with the KISS and the phonecall and I start crying like a little baby every time. *sniffles* Joss is just a master, isn't he?

And of course there's LINDSEY. Who dresses like an "urban cowboy" according to Spikey, heee. And he has his big showdown with Angel which is just LADEN with slashy subtext, or just text really, what with the "I missed you" and the sweaty, half naked wrestling. Mmmmmmm. So much love :D

Lindsey/Angel is so close to canon they really should've just given in and screwed each other on Angel's desk in Not Fade Away.

I'm rewatching the fight scene in You're Welcome, and god - Lindsey smiles so big when he sees Angel, and the way he basically checks Angel out and says "Am I supposed to get all weak in the knees, say I'll never do it again?". Ummmmm... dirtybadroleplayinganyone??? Nnngh.

I have a tab open to read your Jen/Steve, Jen/chris fic right now, actually! I will get to it very soon :D

The episode is soo sad and it made me miss Cordy. Lindsey/Angel is so much love especially in s2. I think CK is the best then, my favourite Lindsey episodes are still 'Dead End' and probably 'Blind Date.'
