I LOVE THE NEW FALL OUT BOY ALBUM!!

I'm surprised, it came out with so little fanfare - it wasn't even on the iTunes front page on the day it debuted, even though the single is number one on their songs charts! Weird o.O Anyway, I had to do some digging to even FIND it, but find it I did, and now I'm just playing it on a continuous loop. It's so much fun. I'm on my fourth go around since last night. My favorite thing is that at the end of the last song, an electronic voice says "Now press 'repeat'." and I giggle :D I love this band, I really do. I don't care if that makes me a typical emo teen, OKAY? They're fun :P

I'm clinging to this because otherwise, I might burst into tears. I hate this semester so much, guys. Like. A lot. I hate my schedule, and that could possibly be bearable if I liked my classes, but no. I HATE two of my classes, hate/love Orgo because while it's fascinating and challenging it also makes me feel like an irresponsible moron, and only like my race relations class because while the material is fascinating, the discussions so often veer off in stupid directions.

I am operating on 5 hours of sleep right now, and I have orgo lab in a couple hours. This terrifies me, because I've been hearing HORROR STORIES from the class that had this lab on Monday. Horror stories like taking THREE HOURS to distill two compounds apart, and someone turning their hot plate up to 550 degrees F and MELTING THE GLASS of their crystallization dish but their compound still wouldn't boil. *holds head* This will NOT BE FUN in ANY SENSE OF THE WORD.

At least I have coffee in me. And after lab, SGA to look forward to. *focuses really really hard on the positives*

Hee, I've thought FOB was awesome for quite some time now :) I was on a total FOB kick for like, 6 months last year. And now new album, YAYE!

*laughs* I have NOT read that, but I might give it a try, because I had such a crush on Nick Carter as a kid, and reading him slashed with the gorgeous Pete Wentz somehow seems entirely appropriate :D

I'm debating whether to have an SGA Season 2 marathon today - if I didn't have so much to do here at home I'd consider it.

I think there should always be time for SGA *grins* It only gets better and better and better, trust me.

Fall Out Boy IS awesome, I will defend them to the death! It's just that when it comes to music, people think it's "cooler" to like bands that are more "obscure" and I just think they're idiots.

Good luck with that lab! Sorry to hear that your semester sucks. I'm in a tough spot myself, it's just a matter of getting through it.

Ew. I saw that a new FOB cd was released in the monday paper and was sad. Why do my favorite bands take so long to release new CDs, and yet FOB comes out with a new CD? I guess it's a good thing that our musical tastes do differ though. Im tired of liking what you like.

I'm sorry that your semester is sucking so hard, and good luck with your Orgo lab! On a semi-related note, have a funny chem lab story! Last week, in lab, my ultimate-combination-lab-partner-and-BFF and I were doing... I don't remember what, but we needed to heat some water, so she puts it in a beaker, but then we realized we needed to do something else, so we put it down on the lab table, and then we put it back on the heat... and when she lifted it up again, the bottom just fell right out! So don't do that in your Orgo lab, hahaha. Hope that cheered you up.

Orgo lab went fine - four hours felt like 2, it was so weird. Gah, distillations take FOREVER.

I'm crazy excited for the FOB album! They're so fun, and the one song I've heard from the album; "This Ain't a Scene, It's An Arms Race," obviously, I really enjoyed.

Are you watching the SGA season finale? It's SO AWESOME, if you haven't seen it yet, you will love it. I'm excited FOR you!

I'm watching 3x14 Tao of Rodney, actually, which a good friend of mine said she thinks is the BEST episode of the show, so. I'm very excited. My thoughts thus far are: oh, RODNEY! :D

omg that's awful. *hugs* I totally understand the clinging and the hate, I think there's nothing worse than classes you hate, it makes all the work super super stressful. Can't you do anything bout your schedule? I had that problem too and I just e-mailed the course coordinator about it. I hope the lab goes well despite the horror stories. Hum Hallelujah is definitely a fun one :) My favorite is Thnks Fr Th Mmrs :D Their song titles are so silly, I love it. I like Panic! too, hee! Basically these are the bands that make me dance in my seat. There are PLENTY other things I like too. So there, world!

*hugs* There's *nothing* I can do about my schedule. It's the worst consequence of being a science student. All classes are before noon on MWF, and then labs take up an entire afternoon, and I've got two of them this semester. Then I've got three hours of volunteering on Tuesday afternoons, work at various times on four days a week (including Saturday!), and choir two nights a week. I can't *really* drop any of it. Baaaaaasically it blows and I just want to finish it all >.< Lab went fine, though. Thanks hon.

Oh I like that one too and I lovvee their song titles. hee I'm an unashamed Panic! fan too and besides I don't like how some people just automatically dislike them cos it's "emo". oh there's a LOT to like. ;) And besides I love how Panic! are just boys who sometimes act slashy and the fic isn't too bad either. *g*

I'm sorry to hear that you're not liking this semester. It really IS tough if you don't like some of your classes. The reason the FOB cd wasn't such a huge deal when it cam out was because it got leaked sometime around January 19. So by now pretty much half the fans have had it for the last 2 weeks.
