I just caught Pride and Prejudice (the Keira version) on TV, and wow, I really like that movie. I'd seen it before, but it was well worth seeing again. I got all teary you guys! *fluttery sigh* I want a Darcy.

I've started being able to pick up on Britishisms (which are often the same as Irishisms) a lot more in fic, now that I, uh, live here. I think before I would just skate over them and write them off as weird turns of phrase, but now I recognize exactly where they are, and it kind of throws me out of a story about American characters because I'm like, uh, Frank Iero would never, ever say "half eight". He just wouldn't. Meh.

I am very seriously thinking about getting my tattoo within the next couple weeks. It depends on when I get the nerves up to make the call. I've picked a place here in Dublin - I've seen it before and thought it looked really neat, but I found out from the intarwebs that Green Day all got inked there at the same time at one point, and hey, if it's good enough for Green Day, it's good enough for me :D I've decided I want Andy to accompany me, for various reasons - of all my friends here, I feel the most comfortable and safe with him, and I think that he's got the perfect balance of compassion and humor. If I have a freakout, he'll know just how to calm me down, and he'll also be able to keep me laughing and distracted. I just have to ask him! It might be a weird request, but I hope he says yes.

Since I never actually said my final decision on my journal (I've told several people about it though) this is what I decided on: I'm getting "think happy thoughts" in this font up the outside of my right calf just above the ankle. :)

Now I'm watching Arsenal vs. Tottenham on TV. I love soccer football :)

Oh, I love that you've decided to put it above your ankle! I just love that. I really think that is the best place to get a tattoo, that's where I was going to have mine done, and that's where my sister got hers.
