I'm just curious... who actually reads my journal? I mean, I get a max of 2 or 3 people commenting on each of my entries. And yet, I've recently survived two flist cuts. I'm so confused. Do people read my journal, nod smile and move on? Or what?
A quiz... what was my big birthday present that I posted about either yesterday or the day before? (If you get it wrong, I cut you from my flist!! Mwahahaha. I'm just kidding, but I do wonder. I don't blame you if you don't remember, actually, I have a hard time keeping track of everyone myself. But it will be an interesting experiment!)

I do read your journal. A lot of the time I'm just pretty bad with commenting or I don't have anything to say. But yes, I read it. :)

Although I have to say, I find your posts terribly dull and filter them out constantly, lol. As if, you're one of the journals I read in in their entirety. :)

But! It was a cell phone! I think...
But yeah. I don't comment on anyone's journal, so don't feel bad.

I believe you! *hugs* hee, I have a similar icon... *points*
You've got another fan!
(Anonymous) 2005-08-17 04:47 am (UTC)(link)I came across your journal while looking through the amazing lj icons people make of Ewan, and I've been checking your journal for updates religiously. I look foward to your posts.
I felt I had to comment on this, just to let you know you've got a few fans out of the livejournal world also ;)

I remember us squeeing about ringtones and the fab site, but neither of us were able to get a ringtone there. *BIGSIGH*

I can't prove it (seeing as how I already read all of the other comments, I always do that first), but I am here! And on MSN ^_^

And your birthday present was a shiny new cell phone... (whoa, that was yesterday or the day before? I'm completely losing track of time).

And it seems like bad commenting is an epidemic *lol* But it's okay :) You get a cookie for remembering what the present was!

and you know i read you. and you know i love you. (so much!) and you know i only comment when you're not online in msn/aim and i know i will have forgotten it by the time you come online. so really, i comment rarely because when i have a comment, i usually tell it to you in person. and i'd do it now, too. only, you asked for comments. *feels like a total dork* *sighs*

I'll try and comment more often to prove it. hehe. I'm just bad at that I'm afraid.

LOL actually that's mostly the case... well, I guess most people are like me, too lazy/short on time to comment most of the time. As in, we read through and do care about what's going on with you, but I guess I just drop comments when I think I can say something that'll help - either that, or random squeeing *g*
I've gone through flist trimming on occasion and I was really surprised because, like you, I don't get many comments for entry. But when I wrote a post saying I'd cut down on my flist, leaving only the people I believed I was on a regular talking-basis with and telling people who got cut off that if they didn't think that was right, they could poke me, I got a variety of 'glad to see you didn't cut me' from lots of people. So I guess in the end most people do read their flists, even if they don't comment, it doesn't mean they aren't there or they don't care... *ponders*

I only comment on I feel I can add something of true value to what is being said. Unfortunately, those times don't come very often.
