MY IPOD IS HEEEEEEERE!!!! It's shiny and beautiful and says "iPeanut Property of Anne Gillies" on the back and it's gorgeous and I want to caress it but I'll leave fingerprints and it's BEAUTIFUL and SHINY and also useless. BUT! Not for long, because my MacBook has shipped already!!!! EEEEEEE! *twirls and twirls* I LOVE shiny new things! Happy birthday to me from me! (Which is not for a couple weeks, but I COULDNT WAIT ;) )

Also -- My mom's mom's dad's (my great-grandpa's) last name was Gillies. Crazy! (Do you pronounce it gill-us?)

Hee, that is crazy! Was he Scottish? There's a Gillies clan in Scotland that we come from. There's a clan shield and everything! And no, I pronounce it "gill-ees", just like it looks.

I believe that he was Scottish, although probably third or fourth generation American already. I think I have seen the clan shield, which is cool. We are sort of in the same clan! :-) (Although we don't pronounce it the same way that you do.)
