one more miracle

Today was a good mail day!

I got my paycheck (20 dollars higher per two weeks than last year because of my raise, woo), my iPod screen cover (FINALLY!) and Entertainment weekly with Battlestar Galactica on the cover! \o/

I just applied my iPod screen cover, which, YAY, because I've had this thing for a month and a half with no screen protection and I've been mortally terrified that something would happen to it. But it survived its trial by fire and now it's all protected, yay. This was also the first time I took Peanut out of its silicone case since I got the case, and oh man I missed it! It's so PRETTY and white and smooth and sleek! *pets it* I love my Peanut :D

Now, EW with BSG on the cover is HAPPY. But! I am extremely miffed at EW for completely snubbing Supernatural! It's done that from the very beginning, and it kind of pisses me off! They didn't even put it in the Thursday must watch block - instead, it was a phrase WITHIN the Smallville blurb! GAH! I may write an incensed letter. I know I want a SPN cover story, dammit!

I am exhausted. So I am going to go sleep. *collapses*

Why did no one tell me Jamie Bamber is on the cover of the current Out?? I was browsing the magazines in Borders and saw his lovely face, and of course I promptly sat down and read the article. It was interesting, and I'm glad to know that there's a possibility for gay relationships in the future of BSG - how great would that be? Even though interestingly enough my favorite HET OTP is on BSG, but ANYway. The pictures were absolutely beautiful, and I was very tempted to buy it. But instead I bought the current BSG official magazine, because it had interviews with Jamie and Katee (my favorites!) and also a poster of Kara and Lee, eeeee *draws hearts*

Also, the mall was covered with CW ads! I saw pretty much all of them, SPN (oh boys, how can you look so FUGLY?! it's such a crime), Vmars, Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Everybody Hates Chris, Next Top Model, and of course OTH. I in fact saw TWO OTHs, and it's "Free to be COOL" with Mayhem trying desperately to do just that and failing miserably. Oh Mayhem. You are so lame it makes me laugh. *ducks sticks and stones*

Also, while my mom and sister were shopping, I got to sit down and watch some Supernatural! *twirls* Oh how I love my Peanut. Enabling me to have hot boys WHEREVER I GO. Amazing.

So HOPEFULLY (*crosses fingers*) I will be getting my beautiful new Mac tomorrow, which also means I can finally put stuff on my iPod. The first thing I want to try is Supernatural (um, duh). I remember someone linked me to a free program for converting videos into iPod format, but I can't find a link again. frayen, was it you? If anyone knows a program that I can use to do that, I'd appreciate a link! Thanks very much :)

*Squeals* I got an email at 12:57 AM telling me that iPeanut (my iPod) was shipped!!!! That's a) the middle of the night, and b) less than 24 hours after I ordered the damn thing! Holy CRAP I love these Apple people! EEEE! *twirls*
