So I'm going to my first actual concert thingy! The band is called Theory of a Deadman, and I'm going with Jeff to a club right here in Lansing. I've been listening to their samples that stream on their website, and I really like what I hear a lot! Just watched Dead Man's Blood with Jeff and Meg - and y'know, it's really not one of my favorite episodes. Sure, Winchester Drama, but it's not as *entertaining* as usual. The boys are subdued and sullen and completely lacking in their usual snarkiness. It's good for learning more about the Winchester dynamics, and I lovelovelove Dean finally standing up to Papa, and also Papa telling Sam about the college fund, but just overall - eh. And the vampires don't really do it for me. Sure, Luther's pretty hot, but Kate is a skanky bitch that I just wanna slap. And I still prefer Buffy vamps :P But next is SALVATION, omg. And then DEVIL'S TRAP. *flappy hands* I can't say too much because I don't wanna spoil Meg, but OMG. You guys know what I'm talking about. I hope I don't cry again! Oh who am I kidding, I totally will. Meep.

I had no idea they were popular! I guess I'm just not up on the current stuff, not a surprise. I'm watching their videos on their website and definitely enjoying them a lot. I think I'll have a great time! :)

Guess what. The bestest thing happened to me yesterday. I have no idea how it happened, but apparently I'd never seen Dead in the Water before. So I watched a supernatural ep that was new to me! YEY!

*can't wait until... whenever series 2 comes out*

Oh, that's AWESOME! What a treat! And Dead in the Water is a fantastic episode, is it not? I adore little Lucas, and Dean is so GOOD with the kid, and talking about how his mom would want him to be brave... *wibbles* And Sam's FACE when Dean opens up like that! *hands* BOYS. Definitely one of the best early episodes.

The current rumored start date for the new season is September 21st, but that's not official. It will be some time around there though. I can't wait that long either!! *clings to you*

Seeing vampires portrayed like that is kinda weird for me, cause I've never seen Buffy, and I'm completely obsessed with The Vampire Chronicles - so my entire view of what vampires should be like is shaped by those books, and the movie. So yeah - skanky!vampires are not really for me. :D

I didn't cry when I watched Devil's Trap, but I'm always SHOCKED. No matter how many times I watch it. :/

I've seen a couple of episodes here and there of both Buffy and Angel, and I've seen the first season AGES ago(like, about seven years ago), I can't remember a thing.

No! I can't start watching it! Because I'll probably end up loving it and I just can't face with another fandom right now! :D lol.

I really think you should listen to some of their stuff on their website, they're not really hardcore or anything, just good and catchy and nice. As you can see above someone sent me a bunch of their songs, I'm gonna email them to myself and burn them onto a CD, if you want to give them a listen. It'd be cool if you came to the concert with us :)

Oh. And... Skanky ho bitch vamps just don't work for me at all. I know, let's just wander freely in a vampire nest while they all sleep off their skanky drunken asses. WTF. Normally Supernatural is so believable!

I much prefer the classy, entertaining vamps like Spike and Darla and Drusilla. Joss does it best! Is anyone surprised? :)

I think the show was thrown by the arrival of Papa W. He does something wonky to the whole dynamic, and I don't think the writers got a very good handle on it right away. It took them a while to get a handle on Dean too, but now they've really got him down, so we just have to give them time I guess :)

Never heard of the band but they dont sound bad.

I did something similar 2 weeks ago. On Monday, I heard on the radio that a band (H2O) was coming to the city. They played a couple of songs on the radio, I liked them. Bought the tickets wednesday, went Friday. :P

I did. My friend didnt, but he hates punk (and it was a punk concert).
