So I'm going to my first actual concert thingy! The band is called Theory of a Deadman, and I'm going with Jeff to a club right here in Lansing. I've been listening to their samples that stream on their website, and I really like what I hear a lot! Just watched Dead Man's Blood with Jeff and Meg - and y'know, it's really not one of my favorite episodes. Sure, Winchester Drama, but it's not as *entertaining* as usual. The boys are subdued and sullen and completely lacking in their usual snarkiness. It's good for learning more about the Winchester dynamics, and I lovelovelove Dean finally standing up to Papa, and also Papa telling Sam about the college fund, but just overall - eh. And the vampires don't really do it for me. Sure, Luther's pretty hot, but Kate is a skanky bitch that I just wanna slap. And I still prefer Buffy vamps :P But next is SALVATION, omg. And then DEVIL'S TRAP. *flappy hands* I can't say too much because I don't wanna spoil Meg, but OMG. You guys know what I'm talking about. I hope I don't cry again! Oh who am I kidding, I totally will. Meep.

Seeing vampires portrayed like that is kinda weird for me, cause I've never seen Buffy, and I'm completely obsessed with The Vampire Chronicles - so my entire view of what vampires should be like is shaped by those books, and the movie. So yeah - skanky!vampires are not really for me. :D

I didn't cry when I watched Devil's Trap, but I'm always SHOCKED. No matter how many times I watch it. :/

You've never seen Buffy? :O I am shocked and appalled, my dear. FIX THAT. RIGHT NOW. I will get you to watch Buffy, just you wait. THIS IS MY RESOLVE FACE. (And if you watched Buffy, you'd get that reference! *hands* You're hopeless ;))

I've seen a couple of episodes here and there of both Buffy and Angel, and I've seen the first season AGES ago(like, about seven years ago), I can't remember a thing.

No! I can't start watching it! Because I'll probably end up loving it and I just can't face with another fandom right now! :D lol.
