Things have changed for me, and that's okay

Well, it has been one eventful evening (morning for me) on old LJ/in the world!

First of all, thank you all for your kind comments. I'll be okay. If I think about it too hard, I get really sad, but I'll be okay. (I think this song will be my soundtrack for a while. &panic;)

Okay, in bullet points:

• Clinton won Pennsylvania. FUCK. (At least Obama won my county? \o?)
  
• This girl street teamed for S//C in Chicago, hung out with Frankie in an alley, and found out RAY IS FUCKING MARRIED!!! :D :D :D :D Congratulations to Ray!!!
  
• Vicky-T is OBLITERATING that fourth wall. I'll repeat what I said in modillian's comments: God, mostly I feel bad for VickyT. I'm kind of shaking my head at her for "engaging" (in the sense of "with the enemy") because she can't win. I've seen her having impassioned conversations with MORONS in Youtube comments, and she doesn't seem to understand that no amount of logic or reasonable arguing is going to make the haters stop hating. It's just not going to go anywhere pretty and I'm really amazed if she isn't pissed yet, but if she isn't then she's gonna be.
  
• This just in: Cobra Starship is BEAUTIFUL. On that note, I BOUGHT MY WARPED TICKET!!!! And enoughoflove's!! YAY! THE TALL TRIFECTA OF AWESOME!
  
• The new Clandestine site is actually gorgeous, and the soundtrack starts with a remix of I Write Sins which is pretty sweet. Is it just me or is that Nick Scimeca modelling???

And that's it for now. Wow! Now I am off to do a sociology presentation, then spend a loooong day in the library D: Later, loves.

Okay, it's because it's 3:30 AM but the combination of finding out Ray is married, Vicky-T in general and the Trifecta of Tall and Beautiful and even the freaking I Write Sins is making me tear up. I'm haaaaappy, stupidhappy, and I've been reading good fic and my head hurts and oh fuck it's really fucking late and my tummy hurts.

1) I sent Vicky-T a message on myspace apologizing for the stupidity of others. I also pointed out that I have made many inappropriate comments about her on my livejournal. They've all been about how hot she is. *nods*

She wrote back! She said that most of the people she knows just lurk over here but that she was curious and that she wish that she would have just left it alone. I feel so terrible!

These are the times when I hate our fandom. I feel like this is usually a place where we can squee and flail in peace. Yeah, we make fun of the guys (and gals) occasionally, but it's always in fun. But people take it way too far and it's so unfortunate because at the end of the day, it seems like these are the people who end up representing the fandom. And do you know how many of them are in middle school? A LOT of them. These are the same bitches who hate Keltie Colleen simply because she exists.

Man, VickyT is like how everyone is when they've discovered fandom for the first time. I know I was perpetually pissed off for the first two years because of all the moronic people and then after that something in me relaxed and accepted. I hope her 'arguing with dumbasses' period doesn't last two years, though.
