I now have 6 Doctor Who icons and almost no occasion to use one! Well here, I'm using one now. &ROSE;

I went to the first meeting of the Film Society (aka an excuse to watch movies) and we watched The Fall. What a luscious, intricate, fantastic, tragic and uplifting film. It stars Lee Pace, who is so beautiful I could just nom on him all day (EYELINER! Sleeveless bandit costume! Be still my HEART) and at the same time so raw and heartbreaking. He really did a brilliant job with the role. And the little girl was so sweet and precocious and innocent and full of heart. I was just captivated the entire time. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

And now I have to watch Pushing Daisies :D

Lala I should probably go accomplish something, since I haven't all weekend!

"Pushing Daisies" (what I saw of it, which includes the entire first season--cut short by the writer's strike--but not the second) is fantastic. I'm so happy to hear that "The Fall" is good. I've wanted to see it since I saw the trailer (about six months before it came out--very shortly--in theatres, and it was gone before I could find time to go).

Have you not seen Pushing Daisies? It's fantastic. I'm still so sad it got canceled. (Though I liked Wonderfalls even better, and of course that got canceled even earlier. *le sigh*)

I haven't! I saw the pilot when it first rolled around, and I thought it was adorable and sweet but never really got around to pursuing it. I'd like to though!
