I've been meaning to make a post/picspam about my newest darling, Lewis Holtby! However, my picture folder keeps exploding and he keeps doing cute things EVERY WEEK so it's just an overwhelming prospect. This, my darlings, is Lewis Holtby, dazzling phenom of the German Bundesliga at just 20 years old. (DON'T YOU FEEL LIKE A PERV? EMBRAAAACE IT) He's been the astonishing playmaker of surprise league leaders FSV Mainz 05, whom I have come to love despite myself for all of their youthful vim and vigor. Lewis is half British and speaks perfect English with a delightful British-German blended accent. He's articulate and funny and laughs a lot, and his Twitter is an endless source of joy. He's amazing to watch on the pitch, clever and fast and creative. I can't wait for him to join Die Nationalmannschaft and show everyone what he's made of! \o/

The best part of this picture, by the way, is that HE POSTED IT. It's part of an album of ~beach fun~ on his Facebook. HE LOVES US SO MUCH. :')

I can only second latenightcuppa here. Mainz (in general) is getting on my nerves. Not because they've done anything but because they are doing what we should be doing and it's frustrating me. So every game Mainz loses is doing good for me. (I can't be happy about them being cute/adorable whatever when my team isn't. THIS SUCKS, LOL. Because during the first 2 - 3 matchdays I was flailing about them rocking in the stadiums. Now, not so much.)

Whatever. Lewis is adorbs and I'm still laughing SO MUCH about Magath/Schalke for letting him go (on loan, though) before this season. LOL.

But I hope he'll stay in the U21 for a little while. Sure, I'd love to see him in the A-squad sooner or later but he is captain of the U21 and he is needed there, I guess.

LMAO SORRY BB BUT IT'S TRUE. I just focus on the fact that he's ten times more talented.than most people older than him so it's okay. :P It's not a speedo but rather these boycut things which I find much hotter tbh.
