Oh my god IS IT THURSDAY YET?

Thinking about 2x20 and the Director's Cuts, a possibility for the ep popped into my head...
How awesome would it be if Dean called alterna!Sam "Sammy," and Sam looked at him like he was insane and said "Dean, you haven't called me that since I was ten." I think it would be AWESOME. A wee bit heartbreaking, but awesome nonetheless. Because it would show how close OUR Dean and Sam are, how Sam tolerates (hell, WELCOMES) such a personal name from ONLY Dean. Whereas in alternaworld, they would have drifted apart and not kept such open affection between them. ALSkfjsdlfkj. Thursday YET?

I am mildly panicked about orgo. And stat. And about getting packed in time to leave Saturday. OH GOD.

*squees into hands* SBP ICON!!!! Oh oh oh. So much LOVE. I'm going to the CW Upfronts with Jaida and I'm all aflail about it. Hee!

I have a BILLION SBP icons. And you're going to see Jaida - that's so awesome! Not to mention you'll be at the freaking CW UPFRONTS.

I used to have lots of SBP icons, but then Supernatural took over, like, 80 of my slots, so there went that plan *laughs* My icons are in constant flux.

If I see/talk to/get autographs from Jared and Jensen, I.... words cannot CONTAIN my squee :D

I can't bring myself to delete the SBP icons...they're just too useful.

Just THINKING about it makes me all shivery. I have goosebumps all over just imagining being in the same room with them. When did I become such a fangirl?

It's got four commentaries from S2 - three have David and Joe at least, usually with Martin Gero and sometimes Martin Wood (director), and Duet's just got David, Martin, and Martin. I think. Obviously if you listen you'll be able to tell :) But there's lots more on the DVDs - actually, they did commentaries for EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of season 2. I shit you not. I sitll havent listened to them all, though I hear the one with Torri and Paul is adorable :D

Hahaha, YES I HAVE. Made of AWESOME. I went through all her SGA icon posts when I first got into the fandom and saved many many. She's brilliant :D Oh John Sheppard, your HAIR. I bet Rodney gives himselves headaches trying to explain the physics of it ;)

I love in fics when other characters (usually Rodney) make fun of John for using up some of his personal items allotment on HAIR GEL. Teehee.

SGA is an extremely iconnable show. It's just so bright and colorful! And also the people are pretty ;)

I've seen that pop up in more than one fic. Probably the best random piece of fanon ever.

The pretty doesn't hurt, that's for sure.

Out of curiosity, do you now get what I mean when I say I almost love fanon more than canon? The fic goes places the canon never can, and there's just some really wonderful details and character developments brought to the table by fanfic writers that just don't work into the show they've put on television.

(Coming out of left field to say I now fully adore your LJ header, by the way.)

Yeah, I really do. Especially when I read all this backstory fic and then go back to the show and think "wait, do we really not know that about John's family?" And the fanon idea of sentient!Atlantis is my favoritest thing ever. So yeah, the devil's in the details. And that's not counting the moments like Rodney mocking John's hair that could easily make it into the show.

Okay, cool :) It must have been unique, coming from the sometimes very dark world of fic and finding that canon is really just rather silly! *laughs*

Well, I'm familiar enough with the world of fic to translate the amount of angst (and sex) into a realistic expectation of the show. I'm amazed that fandom continues to pull so much depth out of silliness.

Fandom is pretty fucking spectacular, innit? It amazes me all the time. I mean, there's so much TALENT here. And it's such a great venue, a built-in audience for all aspiring writers! Yay fandom :D

I'm pretty sure that without fandom I'd still be writing bad Mary Sure original fiction. The worst part is that I'd be thinking it was good. Yay fandom indeed. ♥

Hate to ask you to do this again, but Megaupload and my computer are not playing nicely together. Could you maybe possibly use YSI? You might have to do each one separately, but I would love you beyond forever for it.
