Yay for vid progress! Can't wait to see it! I still need to sit down one of these days and catalogue (somehow?) all of the viddable bits of SPN. It's going to take frigging forever, but I think it will ultimately be worth it, because you're right, even 16 eps is a LOT of material to go through when you're trying to condense it all down into a 4 minute vid (that's one of the main reasons why I don't vid Buffy anymore--there's just TOO MUCH!).
And I know what you mean about the fics. There is a ridiculous amount of GREAT fic in this fandom. It's refreshing to not have to weed through bunches and bunches of horrible fics to find the ones worth reading.
