First of all, I would like to apologize for calling you that. It was thoughtless and unkind of me, and far too over the top. It's not an excuse, but I was just a bit irked about some of the things you said.
I'd like to reiterate that I have no quarrel with your assertion that they seem like a gay couple. I just don't like that being separated from their status as brothers, because to me that is what makes the relationship, that they are brothers first and foremost, but what they have goes beyond that. I understand if that squicks you, but I just thought it cheapened what they have, a little bit, to say that they aren't actually brothers.
As for the WB, the only other show I watch on it is Gilmore Girls, and I think that's another good quality show (though not so much of late, but that's another story). I was not saying that Supernatural is a pinnacle of quality, and I certainly do not expect it to win any awards. I *know* what quality is - I am a huge fan of Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Battlestar Galactica, to name three genre shows of truly exemplary quality. I would never place Supernatural on the same level as them. But I would like to disagree about the acting comment - Jensen and Jared are pretty damn talented, and they're finally getting their chance to shine. Their acting has an emotional impact that brings me to tears pretty much every episode, because you just care about them so much. Without them, the show would fall on its face, I think. So I agree that while the show is barely above mediocre in most respects, Jared and Jensen bring it to a level that it wouldn't have reached otherwise.
Again, I am very sorry for what I said, and I appreciate your civil response to my comments. I hope my position is clarified somewhat for you.
