(no subject)

I was just watching some X-Files, the episode "Theef", and I have to share about this adorable moment... ok, some background ^_^ Throughout the ep, Mulder and Scully had this running joke where they said that Scully kept Mulder guessing, because she didnt immediately play skeptic, and such. So. At the very end, Mulder suggests that she might be considering that magic could have saved someone's life... and she just gives him this soft, quiet look, and leaves the room. He stands there, and whispers to himself (yes, whispers) "You do keep me guessing." I watched it fully four times over, it's just so... sweet, and tender. I LOVE Season 7 Mulder/Scully. Aw.

Bits and bobs

So I just (er, 2 hours ago) got back from the amusement park today, which was really fun. It was kinda overcast, and not very hot, drizzled a little bit, but that was actually nice because we didn't have the sun beating down on us all day, and it wasn't very crowded. The lines were very short, and we went on lots of rides. It was a good time.

A little anecdote I need to share.. tiny, seriously... but I saw this guy at the park who seriously had curt Wild's hair. The blonde, I mean. It was thin, and straight, and bleach blond, with the same angled cut. He was by no means as hot as Ewan (duh!) but I couldn't help but stare for a minute *hee*

Also... I GOT THE NEXT NIGHTRUNNER BOOK!!!! *dances happily* I'm SO excited to start reading it. First I need to read the SHOEBOX UPDATE, but then it's Alec and Seregil love ALL THE WAY.

Anything else? Umm... observation: of the three PoA trailers just linked to on mugglenet (they have never been released before, and they're really QUITE awesome, I recommend checking them out) I think the second one was totally made by an HHr shipper :D It had some of their greatest moments, and none of the silly RHr... stuff, you know what I mean. I LOVE THAT MOVIE. I think I need to watch it again.

ETA: ladylisse did that meme thing where you give her a pairing, and she writes the beginning of a story for it. I said Harry/Hermione, since I think that's the only pairing/fandom we have in common, and LOOK what she came up with. It makes me squee and go awwww all at the same time. *loves*

Watching Hermione fall asleep over her books is fascinating. She keeps her chin propped on her hand until the last possible moment, when it slips and she's an awkward tumble of flyaway hair and general grogginess. She grumbles that he never stops her from falling over, but then he smiles and tells her that he likes watching her sleep. That stops her mid-complaint.

What else... oh, my icon post has been SO well received, wow! It makes me so happy :) Thank you to everyone for their kind words! ♥
