Today was an absolutely gorgeous day. Sunny and warm and lovely. And I was stuck inside for all of it!! *pout* I had a concert to be in, and then right after I had work. By that time it was 7 PM, so the sun was almost down and it was already much cooler. Alas. I tried to eat dinner outside but I got a bit too chilly. *sigh* Hopefully it will be this warm next weekend, when I don't have a concert!
I got offered a preceptor position for next semester (it's basically a student assistant for a class), which is paid (quite nicely, for the amount of time it requires) and also counts for a credit. Which is many many kinds of awesome. The only problem is that it might conflict with my own schedule, so I'm going to have to wait and see how that pans out. But I do want to do it! *crosses fingers*
Last night was lots of fun. Dinner with a large group of people, Zoolander with a somewhat smaller group, playing on the playground with an even smaller group, and then to a fun games and music night at a local church with a bunch of people. And then an episode of BSG with Sara and Meesh! It was just a good night all around :)
A couple brief excerpts from our game of Taboo:
Me (giving clue to Sara): "Something you love!"
Sara: "Michelle!"
(The word was poem :P)
PJ (giving clue to me and Sara): "The people at F&M are all this."
Me and Sara (in unison): "Preppy!"
(The word was intelligent!)
Hee. That game does reveal some funny automatic responses!
Also, Sara and I owned at Scrabble. SWEET. Take that, tall people! (ie, Thomas and Jake)
Alriiiight I guess I'll go do homework *dramatic sigh*
