I have that feeling in my throat and chest where I just know I'm getting sick. I can practically see the little viruses cackling evilly and invading all my poor, hapless cells. Meanwhile, my immune system is rustling up troops, but it's taking about as long as our woefully stretched National Guard to actually do something effective. Net result: me sick as a dog within 12 hours. I can just TELL. The energy is draining out of me at an alarming rate.
In conclusion: bleurgh.
Luckily, this is about the best time I could get sick. It's a Friday, and my professor isn't here to boot, so I can leave early without having to explain or make up the hours. In addition, it's HARRY POTTER WEEKEND!!1!11, and sickness is a convenient excuse to spend the entire 48 hours curled up on my bed first reading and then flailing online.
Always a silver lining :)
