exsequarI just had a realization! I'm reading Brave New World, and the Savage, John, keeps quoting Shakespeare, and The Tempest in particular - "O brave new world, that has such people in it!" And he mentions that Miranda is the character that says it (I've never read the Tempest, so I didn't know) and I bet that's the reason the planet is named Miranda in Serenity! How cool!
