Nov. 10th, 2006 04:48 pmDISCLAIMER: The following is not to be taken as bragging or gloating, because none of ya'll had to go through this thing too - I'm just gleeful! /Disclaimer
GUYS. I ROCKED my Orgo test. (Organic chemistry, for those not following along at home) It was challenging and there are definitely a couple things I didn't get perfectly, but on the whole I felt very confident, and there was nothing that made me go "ummm WHAT?!" So THAT was good. The thing I was most worried about was the mixed spectra problems - there were two of em, and I NAILED them both. Which is such a relief. I think I pulled off a B+ again, and he curves upward at the end of the semester, so I'm getting something like an A in orgo! Eeeee! *twirls giddily*
However, my first comment above triggered a bit of curiosity on my part, so have a poll! Basically I'm curious to see what kinds of academic interests my flist has. And what kind of education you've had. Feel free to elaborate in the comments!
ETA: *facepalm* I just realized that CLEARLY you aren't all American, so you have different systems. Uhm. Fill it out best you can, and clarify in comments if you feel so inclined? This is all for curiosity's sake anyway, so it doesn't REALLY matter. But, uhm, I suck. Sorry!

Date: 2006-11-10 09:58 pm (UTC)I'm doing a joint bachelor of arts degree in English and American Literature with Comparative Literature Studies, a fancy way of saying I study books. Or at least pretend to study books. *guilty cough*

Date: 2006-11-10 10:25 pm (UTC)As far as education goes. Here in the UK we're odd! We have compulsory education until we're 16. I then did 2 years at College to get my A-levels where I studied Geography, History, Psychology and English. Then I had 3 years at University to get my BA in Geography in the faculty of social sciences which I finished this year. I'm thinking of going back to get my MA next year but haven't decided yet, and that's another year.
