Hey! *waves* A few notes on the vid: 1) I only used episodes from season 2. I didn't want to bring season 3 stuff into it, because for 1. Ethan wasn't really the "otherman" then since Justin was with him, also, that's when Ethan really turned into a slime ball. This also means that no one really knew about Justin and Ethan, so with the exceptions of the scenes in there, I couldn't use the parts where Daphne and others despised him since they didn't know yet.
2) About the whole "you know he's not the one for you but that's no fault of mine", this part obviously could have been better, since my meaning didn't really get across, but at the time when I was making it I actually meant it comeing from Brian not Ethan. That completely throws off the POV, since the rest is from Ethan, but hey this was my first vid with a story line. Under that pretense, you see Justin looking at teh "present" for the "You know he's not the one for you" and then it cuts to Brian shrugging for the "and that's no fault of mine" Not that this explination makes it better, but just so you know. I would also NEVER say that Brian wasn't the one for Justin, why that's sacralige!!! :P
3) Man, you're finding things I hadn't even seen, I like the idea of Ethan giving the right gift, now if only I had thought of that :P
4)57-1:13, as I said before, I was only using the early eps, so that's why I couldn't really carry the theme. I also wasn't all that pleased with this scene, I hate having one scene carry for to long, but I wanted to show that whole "otherman" theme, and them kissing secretly, but being observed fit, it was just long, and I didn't want to cut it up, especially since the bigining and ending fit well. *shrugs* Maybe one day I'll redo the vid.
5)1:14-1:23, yeah I wanted to show that this wasn't easy for Justin, and that he was torn.
6)1:24-1:39 I thought the lyrics were, "but it happened anyways" I'm not sure though I never looked it up. I thought that scene really fit the lyrics, because chronilogically, after Brian had his little lunch with Ethan and Justin walked in, Justin went to see Ethan and he said that he couldn't deal with Justin's shit and sent him away. Next time you see Ethan is that scene, so he couldn't really stay away. And yes, Brian definatly let Justin and himself drift apart, he would never try to stop Justin from leaving.
7) 1:40-1:47 Basically your complaints for this part can be whittled down to the whole "only using 5 eps from season 2" I see where you're coming from, but realy I still stand firm on that decision. I could try and defend not switching to an Ethan scene for the second half by citing lack of clips, or that it was to emphasise his lack of concern over how good Brian was to Justin, but I'm going to be honest with you, it was more likely due to laziness. Also one of my huge flaws as a vidder is that I focus much to much on the technical aspects instead of the story line aspects :-S
8) 1:48-2:12 Wow, that whole despises thing bothers you. :( I'm sorry. I tried to make it look like Ethan realised that he wasn't well liked with the facial expression.
