9) 2:13-2:32 Ok, basically here's my side. It wasn't really until my 3rd vid that someone mentioned that you should keep a vid in one POV or at least make clear chages of POV, and like I said, I focus way too much on the technical aspects instead of the POVs, actually most of me rebuttles for the things you've mentioned could be better lie in the POV (or in the fact that I didn't use season 3 material, but that's a seperate matter). Basically what I did for this scene was fit scenes as best I could to the song. Obviously the part at the diner is when *everyone* finds out the truth for sure. The next part in Mikey's comic book store was to show that Justin didn't realize that there were rumors flying. The next part is of Mikey telling Brian what he saw, and then Brian absorbing that info. It doesn't work with the POV but as you said, with those lyrics it would be really hard to keep it.

11) 2:47-3:04 it shows the difference and I kind of thought it fit the words too, the despise me, and Brian is scoffing at the ideas that Ethan has put into Justin's head, scoffing at the very characteristics of "the otherman" that is drawing Justin away from Brian to Ethan.
12) 3:05-3:26 umm, that was basically filler on my part, but I'm glad you think it worked :)
13) 3:27-3:39 I put those scenes in becasue the lyrics are supposed to imply regret at the end, and I do think that Justin regretted those times. He didn't enjoy being left on teh floor, he hated that he was rejected by Brian, and then Ethan in turn and had to go crawling back to Brian. As for the speeding up of the clip, I had to, if I had left it at the normal speed you wouldn't have gotten the whole picture, and they were just too slow. Although, I had sort of forgotten I had done that, it didn't really look off to me....
14) 3:40-end I agree, I don't think there could have been another clip to end it with. It's also segnificant because not only is it the end of the vid, but it's also the point when all of the decite is over, and Ethan is no longer the "otherman" but the Boyfriend instead. The cheating is over too.
15) Completely off topic, have you seen the actual music vid for this song? In it Sloan is the otherman, and the girl he's wooing is a violin player :P Unrelated, but funny none the less.
16) I'm also an avid B/J shipper, I love Ethan, but purely as a plot device, I love how he tore those two apart so that they could go back to being together, but this time with some of thier shit out in the air. I think Ethan made thier relationship stronger in many ways, so I can't really hate the little fucker. But I think he turned into a major sleaze ball come season 3; cheating and lying to Justin, while being so superficially romantic. The song is taken from the POV of the otherman, so really it's there to sympathize with thier plight, I feel that had I brought season 3 footage into the vid, it really would have reminded the watcher of how it ended. Season 2 though held a lot more promise. I mean before season 3 came out B/Jers could only complain that Ethan broke B and J up and was a bit arrogant, but they didn't have much else to complain about him. I wanted Ethan to be a seen in that pure light. I don't know, I may be trying to justifiy my episode choice a bit too much.
17) In my really, really long comment here, I've kind of tried to justify the mistakes you've pointed out, I woudl just like to say, thank you so much for doing so. Like I said this was my second vid (man I'm glad I choose an early one so I could have that excuse :P) and I hadn't really given much thought to the POV so it's really helpfull to see it as other people do.
