If anyone cares to take a look, I changed the section headers on my userinfo - where there were S1 SPN pics, now there are S2 pics *g* Can't say I'm not consistent! Take a look -->

when were you inducted into the fandom and why: I posted about watching the Pilot on December 21st, 2005, exactly 364 days ago! (I'll celebrate my anniversary tomorrow, YAY) My exposure to the show was through
ringwench , who had been squealing nonstop about the show for months. I thought she was silly - a WB show, pretending to be scary? The boys were semi-attractive sure, but... (*facepalm*) But I caught a couple eps in reruns, and upon seeing Bloody Mary I went hot DAMN and decided I must download the pilot. I did, I watched it, I fell COMPLETELY HEAD OVER HEELS, and the rest is history.
favorite episode (S1): Devil's Trap. Yes, I've finally let go of Home as my favorite S1 ep, because while I still love that ep, I've seen it enough times that it's kind of lost its impact, and the boys (and the show!) have grown so much since then. Devil's Trap is just such a tight episode, from start to finish - there's no moment I don't love. From the exorcism, to the quietly intense argument about the Colt, to the firemen stripping, to Dean shooting the guy to save Sam, to Dean confessing his fears to Sam, to Sam believing Dean on no evidence when he says John is possessed, to the most intense scene in the history of the Winchesters with possessed Papa, to of course the cliffhanger that ripped me to pieces - this episode is incredible. Gah.
least favorite episode (S1): Route 666. Cassie makes me want to stab my eyes out. And I can't even properly appreciate the Jensen sexin, because it's with HER. The only redeeming part is that Sam is the most hilarious little brother EVER. *pets him* Runners up are Hookman (for the second-lamest damsel and just bad execution overall) and Bugs (wasn't it just midnight...?).
favorite episode (S2): Bloodlust. My reasons for loving this episode number 90, but can be boiled down to "He's the only one that gets to call me that" and "Guess I might have to stick around and be a pain in the ass then." I guess it was such a refreshing change from all of S1, when Dean was positively bending over backwards to show how much he loved Sam and wanted him around, and now Sam is declaring his intention to stay, in "Dean!speak" no less, and Dean is shocked into an uncharacteristic thanks. It just makes me squeal and flap around a lot.
least favorite episode (S2): No Exit. I didn't hate it, in fact I was plenty entertained while actually watching, but it's the only one I haven't rewatched (okay... I lie, I rewatched it with kelly cause she missed the original airing) because it lacks SAM, and so... what? What's the point? Jo doesn't bother me THAT much, but she also doesn't interest me. Of course it has its moments though - for example, Katie Holmes, Sam geeking out over serial killers, and Dean's first utterance upon waking up in a room with a beautiful blonde being "Where's Sam?"
favorite love interest: Jess. I have a soft spot in my heart for Jess, thanks mostly to the efforts of fic authors like Mona and Erin who have developed her into someone I care deeply for. Plus, she's dead, so she can no longer get in between Sam and Dean - which gets her major points ;)
favorite monster: Demon-in-Papa, of course. Truly terrifying, thanks to the miraculous Jeffrey Dean. But in terms of monster-of-the-week? Hmm. I thought the Woman in White was really awesome. That or Tessa the Reaper in IMTOD.
scariest moment: I'm totally desensitized to everything in season 1 from watching it too much, so I don't remember what actually scared me. But let's see. Jo trapped in the box in the sewers seriously freaked me out. And the morphing faces in Crossroad Blues. Aaaand Dean holding a rifle to his chin, OMG. And Papa!Demon lifting his head and saying "I thought so." *SQUEAK*
favorite guest character(s): AAAAAAAAAASH. I have so much crazy love for that boy. I hope we get more priceless Ash moments SOON. He's the perfect foil for the boys - for Dean, especially. He brings out new characteristics in both of them. We see a bit of Sam's elitism, and Dean's appreciation of individuality, no matter the form it takes. His scenes with them are just perfect. "It's a school in Boston." Other favorites include Michael ("You take care of your brother? You'd do... anything for him?"), Andrea, and Layla.
theories on the yellow-eyed demon: I really don't know. I don't theorize, because a) if I'm right, then it's almost like spoiling myself, and b) if I'm wrong, then what was the point of theorizing? :P
how will you survive the christmas hiatus of 2006?: By mainlining season 1 with my sister (we're through Skin!) and immersing myself in several other shows that I've been meaning to catch up on. Also, hopefully by going and visiting my friends.
what do you like most about this fandom: The openness, the absolute no-holds-barred feel to it. I feel like I can be completely and purely myself and THAT'S OKAY. The fact that our OTP is so dirtybadwrong in and of itself makes for a completely shameless environment. I've made some truly wonderful friends in this environment, and I'm so thankful.
most squee-worthy moment: "He's the only one that gets to call me that." I literally tackled Cassi when that was said, jesus. SO MUCH LOVE.
wincest or no: Hi, YES PLZ. *gimme hands*
(disclaimer: the next four choices are by a HAIR. I love ALL FOUR boys immeasurably)
jared or jensen: jared, the big teddybear
sam or dean: dean, the beautiful woobie
dean or jensen: dean
sam or jared:jared
favorite quotes: Gosh, do I have to say it again? "He's the only one that gets to call me that." There are so many others though, almost all mushy lines from one boy to/about the other. Because I'm a huge sap like that, and those are the lines I flail about and remember, not so much the humorous ones. So lessee. "The three of us. That's all we have. It's all I have. Sometimes I feel like I'm barely holding it together man. Without you and Dad..."; "Thanks for not givin up on me Sammy."; "It hasn't been the same without you Dean."; "Who says I want to?"; "Maybe I'll have to stick around and be a pain in the ass then."; "No, sir. Not everything."; "You, and me. And Dad. I want us to be a family again."; "I can't do this alone." "Yes you can." "Yeah, well... I don't want to."
other fandoms: firefly, buffy, angel, x-files, veronica mars, boondock saints, harry potter, battlestar galactica, queer as folk, heroes, dexter, etc etc ad nauseum.
Well that was fun! :)
