It throws me a little that our two major villains this season are black men ~ Whenever WB and UPN merged, I remember reading an article about how some people were concerned because of losing so many minority shows that were carried on UPN. CW claimed that one of the ways they were going to counteract this was by making sure that shows like Supernatural and Smallville took up some of the slack for minority actors. I think it may have more to do with that than anything else.
Besides, both Gordon and Hendrickson are interesting, complicated characters that believe they are doing the right thing. Which is a good thing. I hope we see Hendrickson again. : )
