And re: inappropriate crushes on chemistry teachers? It's okay. I have one, too. My high school chemistry teacher has three kids, a crazy-ass beard/mustache combo, and a cute little stomach paunch. I may or may not be kind of a little bit in love with him... like I want to marry someone exactly like him, only about 30-40 years younger, you know? Also, you said 'frisson.' So it's totally okay.
