Pithy Definition Of Irony = when stuff happens/you think thoughts/feel feelings that is/are contrary to what one would expect to happen/think/feel based on what was said/done or not said/done (ignorance) in the narrative! It's the ideal vs the real! Most of Alanis's definitions, god bless her, are totally wrong. Those things are not ironic, they are merely unfortunate.
