Well, that's overstating it - Chris Carter has nothing to do with Supernatural. But Kim Manners, one of the powerhouses of X-Files, is an executive producer of SPN and has directed some of the best episodes. Also, John Shiban is one of the main SPN writers and has done some great episodes too. It's a must for any X-Files fan, imo!
