I have four tattoos and for each one I've only covered them for the first couple of hours and then after that just keep it moisturized with good lotion and leave it uncovered. I don't know if it depends on skin type or what, but that's what I do.
Also, I LOVE that last picture, and I cry too, every time I watch that part. They are so precious.
