I come bearing pictures of meeeee! I went to the SALON to get my hair dyed for the very first time, and I am rather pleased. It ended up similar to what I had a few months ago, but it's obviously better quality. Also behind the cut is my awesome birthday present - a Bastian jersey! :DD

I keep looking in the mirror and going whoa! My hair's like - burgundy-black-ish! Whoa! Kinda cool. I look forward to the reddish the sun will fade it to. But it's a fun, semi-dramatic change. :)


THIS ARRIVED IN THE MAIL FOR ME TODAY AND OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH. *_______* It's a REAL one (unlike my black away replica from Thailand, lol) and it's so soooft and light and the details are so perfect and beautiful and UNGH, I have been wearing it all evening!


SCHWEINSTEIGAHHHH! My favorite bb of them ALL! Ugh I love him sfm. YAAAY! *twirls*


Bonus: this is my high school soccer jersey! And it's signed by Pele! :DD Our assistant coach had a connection of some kind so he sent off our jerseys and they came back like this! Prettttty nifty. \o/ I really love this sport and I'm so glad I'm reconnecting with it. :)))

Science has been frustrating lately... or more accurately, I've been frustrating MYSELF with a lack of drive and creativity. IDK what's wrong with me, but SOMETHING is. Meh. Well, I'm running away again - off to California to see my American girls from my year in Dublin! We're spending the weekend in Monterey and I'm prettttty excited. :D Hooray for running away from your problems! Then the weekend after THAT is Chicago with mah musictoyourlips for a Stargate Creation Con with DAVID HEWLETT AND JOE FLANIGAN AND MICHAEL SHANKS OMGGGG. :DDD So that's pretty cool. Last hurrah before the semester begins! \o/ (We won't talk about that big research plan I have to have written for my boss before classes start.... nosireee.)

You look great! Aaaaah, jerseys~. The black is BEAUTIFUL but I love the symbolism of the white (eleven threads on the front, black-red-gold on the interior of the cuffs, the tradition behind the white in general, aaaaaah.) And Adidas Unity, what a pretty pretty font. And yes, the legitimate ones are worth it - they are really made to last and use the best fabric, ever. Are the name/number silkscreened, or put on some other way? (I've actually never gotten close enough to a legitimate named jersey to touch one.)

That reminds me that I have to go and visit my hair dresser again soon-ish. Haven't been there in months and my hair is getting grumpy already. May be also because I'm not using my usual shampoo & conditioner right now (because I don't have the money to afford it) and instead use some cheap stuff from the drug store. And my hair? Is a spoiled bitch, lol.

Aww. I love the white one. Maybe I'll get one (without a player on it because nearly all my Germany jerseys have a name on them and I need a "neutral" one) next year or so. Depends on the money-situation. :)

As for the lack of drive and creaitivity: That's totally normal and okay. Everybody has a phase like this at one point. You can't be 100 % "YAY WOOHOOOO" about work all the time. Even when it's exactly the thing you are good in and you know you want to do for the next years. Sometimes you are just "Meh." and "*shrugs*" and "can't be bothered". *hugs* But this phase will also fade away! I'm sure of it. Once you do an exciting project or have a sense of achievement..
