Mar. 14th, 2006 03:54 pmI'm on spring break and I'm at my cousins' house. Usually I can get internet here, but not anymore, unless they set up their router but I'm only here for two more days so I don't want to make them do that. As a result, I don't have MSN or AIM. I know, you might not make it without me, but stay strong! *g*
Sas, I saw this and just had to tell you... my cousin's husband has a LotR RPG guidebook and I was flipping through it, and I came across the character info for Elladan and Elrohir (yes, they're grouped together!). One of their ability things is "Unbreakable Bond," and basically when one of them dies the other gains strength, loses defense, and basically becomes a killing machine with no regard for his own safety. Awwwwwww. The description of them also said that they have the choice between living as elves or men, but that their closeness ensures that whatever one chooses the other will choose too. Again, awwwwwwww. I just thought that was sweet, and that I'd share with you :)
I watched the first two episodes of Curb your Enthusiasm last night, and HEE. It's hilarious. I don't get all fangirly about comedies, but I do enjoy them. Also, it turns out that my cousins have watched the first season of Battlestar Galactica! Sweet! I have the first two discs of season 2 with me, so we might watch some of that. Additionally, they watch Veronica Mars!!! I love my cousins, so much. Seriously. I love being here :) My absolutely adorable 4 year old little cousin doesn't hurt one bit, either!
So yeah, that's my life right now :) Hope y'all aren't having too much fun without me!

Date: 2006-03-14 10:16 pm (UTC)See? I told you they're the epitome of twincest. What's kinda sad is the fact that it's almost 100% sure that they chose to be human and not elves. *sniffle*

Date: 2006-03-15 08:28 am (UTC)See, once upon a time there was a girl named Michelle. She met a girl named Anne. They became fast friends and giggled and squealed over fandom related things. One day Anne showed Michelle an episode of Queer as Folk. Then another, and another, and another. Michelle, although hesitant at first, became intrigued. So, she downloaded all the seasons except for season 3, because she could find it NOWHERE. However, Michelle was not to upset with this. She figured she could see it with Anne at a later date. It wasn't like she was going to watch all of season two over spring break...
Well, spring break began and Michelle watched an episode or so a night. Everything was lovely and season two would definitely not be finished before spring break at this rate. Then, one morning Michelle skipped off to the doctor's office to get immunizations for her trip to China. Michelle doesn't like needles over much, but she deals. She just doesn't watch when it is going into her arm. Well, anyway, that day's adventure with needles was superfun. Especially when Michelle's vision started going black, she nearly fainted, and then she threw up. Really, it was tons of fun.
Beyond simple mortification, Michelle felt like crap for the rest of the day. Her arm hurt from the shot and she still felt sick. So, what did she do? Overdosed on QAF of course.
And now, in conclusion, she has finished season two and DOES NOT HAVE THE NEXT EPISODE, ARGH!
*whimper*
All. Your. Fault.
P.S. *hug* I love you and have fun with the awesome cousins!

Date: 2006-03-15 06:17 pm (UTC)Are you okay sweetie?? Sara's supposed to react to needles like that, not you! Was it something in the needles that you had a bad reaction to? :(:(:( *hugggggs* I hope you feel better.
But omg. I TOLD YOU SO. Isn't it amazing and addictive??? I would watch 4 or 5 episodes a day when I first got into it, cause omg. You finish one and you're like I want moooooooore! Wasn't the end of season 1 incredible????? And doesn't the end of season 2 make you want season 3??? LOL. I'm sorry love! We'll be back at school in 4 days, and we can watch season 3 then, I promise! I'm just so glad you liked it :D We'll have to squee together in detail at some point!
