Wow. I just... incredible. I have no idea how you do this, with all the pictures overlapping so beautifully. I suck at just the basic icon-making.
So, hmmm, colors-- could it possibly be more pastel in nature, e.g., peach, soft-yellow and pastel-green? Wish I could get a bluer tint in there, but the Diner Dean sets the whole tone, and I can't imagine that peach color looking good next to anything blue-ish. And is there any way to tone down the orange of Sam's face in the phone picture and the Faith window picture? His makeup was really overdone in both of those (and several others I saved off).
I _love_ that you used the Supernatural-style text for the word itself. I really like its slight unevenness in the letter heights, etc.
For the "HalfshellVenus'" and "Gen Fiction" perhaps a different font? This is such an interesting style you chose here-- it speaks to me more for my Prison Break fiction for some reason. Like grainy brick desperation or something. Could it be perhaps wider than the Supernatural, but less fat and grainy? Maybe even a bold version of the same text style as the "Supernatural"? I have no idea what that is, but I tried out some samples in Microsoft Word, and "Calligraph421 BT" came kind of close. Just a suggestion, though.
God, all the overlaying and the conflicting parts of the picture are so well covered or displaced or obscured. Your skills just absolutely amaze me.
*bows in veneration and mystification* Thank you so much!
All those changes are definitely easy to make! Right now I'm at a friend's house, so the earliest I'll be able to do anything is tomorrow, if that's okay. I can definitely make it blueish if you want, I can alter the color of the entire thing and therefore diner!Dean won't throw anything off. I'll try a few things and see what works out. I'll also see what I can do about Sam's insane orange makeup, lol.
The font I used for Supernatural is "Sell Your Soul," which I had to download from dafont.com (if you want to find it yourself). I'm not sure if I have a bold version of it, but again, I'll play around with it and see what I come up with :)
I'm glad you like it! *hugs* It was no problem, I had fun :) I wonder if you'd mind if I shared it, just without your text on it? It's totally cool if you just want to keep it to yourself, just thought I'd ask :)
It's gorgeous! The colors, the composition. Guh. I'll just be over here flailing for a bit...
I think only one more tweak, if possible-- can the shading on the words reclaim the "H" in HalfshellVenus' and the "S" in Supernatural and also the "n" at the end of Fanfiction?
Now I need to run over to my journal and spaz over this for a bit.
Thank you! *huggles of unimaginable rib-crushing size*
