candlesandcloth has been sadly sans internet for a few days, and while I was on the phone with her just now I promised to show her a few things.
1. The new header I made! It's Simon/River, and I'm so very very proud of it. I haven't put it up on my journal yet because that will require some time to tinker with colors and sidebar settings and such, so I'm just putting it in here for now.
Plus, matching icon! *points*
2. Harry/Hermione pic's on the last entry before this, love ^_^ Squee your heart out!
3. Simon/River DRABBLE. Yes, that's right, I wrote fic! During chemistry! Hahaha. I always seem to get the best inspiration when I'm stuck in a class learning something I've already known for 3 years, so I've got pencil and paper and nowhere to go, so I just write!

His eyes always find her. When River enters the room, Simon knows. His consciousness is tuned to her, constantly alert, concerned. She takes up his whole world.
But her eyes are always somewhere else. They stare through and past and in all at once. She sees what isn't there, but also more of what is. She speaks and her words make no sense. Apple bits. Hands of blue. Secrets. It scares him sometimes.
Then her eyes come back to his, and suddenly she's just a little girl. She kicks his shin, she smiles. In these moments, he has found himself.

Oooooh! Yay for MORE Harry/Hermione goodness! You know, we're going to be puddles after we see this movie. There's just going to be too much shippiness. I CAN'T WAIT. :D
*squees at the drabble* I heart it. So much. Especially the first sentence. It's so simple...but so true. And I looove that you mentioned 'apple bits.' You know, I think only River could get away with making vomiting sound cute. (Side note: her throwing up in the movie DIDN'T gross me out, and I usually can't stand stuff like that. And okay. Enough about vomit.)
Mmmmm. Simon is rather delectable in that wallpaper. As usual. ;D Dude, I'm so in love with Sean right now, it's not even funny.
And ooooh. *clicks on the spoof* I love spoofs. The Prisoner of Azkaban one made me laugh for DAYS.
