Oh neb. Oh steff. I'm so sorry, loves. *hugs tightly* I was in tears at the end, so I can't imagine how YOU felt. God. That was so hard... what an incredible game, and I was fully confident that it was going to go to PKs and Germany was going to kick ass (again), but then... BAM. Just totally out of the blue. How heartbreaking? Of course I'll be watching their third place game (I may be a little bit in love with this squad now - I knew everyone's name on the pitch (except a couple of the defenders) and was actually starting to get a handle on how they all differ in terms of style and everything, and it was just so much fun being that personally invested in it. Ballack makes my heart flutter just a little bit. And LAHM! Lahm was awesome!! He's so little and fast and incredible. I'm so sad that they don't get to go on to the finals. And Torsten! Poor poor Torsten, having to sit out for all of that. *sighs*

Date: 2006-07-04 11:01 pm (UTC)I'm in tears right now. I wasn't able to cry or react or something when the match was over. But now, reading all the entries on my flist and seeing the reports in TV.
I mean, yeah, it's a football match and just sport but .. aww..
You know, I'm not sad that we lost. Because Italy was good. (they won against us :p) But I'm sad for the squad. They wanted it. They were hungry. They would have been ready for the title this time.
I said it before the match. "even if we won't win we are winners already." Nobody believed in the team but look where they were? They are one of the best four teams of the whole WC.
I know, I'm rambling. But this is the first comment I'm able to and so you are getting all my blabla. Sorry, darling. :-*
Jürgen, go on!!!!!! Thank you.

Date: 2006-07-05 12:35 pm (UTC)I'm crushed the dream is over, but life goes on. I'm glad for the ride we got, it was a crap game (two was declared our unlucky number. friggin two minutes left, two goals recieved), but seeing all the fans still cheering for Germany, showing their support and love after the game was great. *clings nevertheless*
Oh boys.
and if i hear one more guy saying our players were fat, i'll... *holds back with all effort and tries not to get all protective over her boys*no subject
