exsequar: (World cup is LOVE!)

Oh neb. Oh steff. I'm so sorry, loves. *hugs tightly* I was in tears at the end, so I can't imagine how YOU felt. God. That was so hard... what an incredible game, and I was fully confident that it was going to go to PKs and Germany was going to kick ass (again), but then... BAM. Just totally out of the blue. How heartbreaking? Of course I'll be watching their third place game (I may be a little bit in love with this squad now - I knew everyone's name on the pitch (except a couple of the defenders) and was actually starting to get a handle on how they all differ in terms of style and everything, and it was just so much fun being that personally invested in it. Ballack makes my heart flutter just a little bit. And LAHM! Lahm was awesome!! He's so little and fast and incredible. I'm so sad that they don't get to go on to the finals. And Torsten! Poor poor Torsten, having to sit out for all of that. *sighs*

*hugs back*

I'm in tears right now. I wasn't able to cry or react or something when the match was over. But now, reading all the entries on my flist and seeing the reports in TV.

I mean, yeah, it's a football match and just sport but .. aww..

You know, I'm not sad that we lost. Because Italy was good. (they won against us :p) But I'm sad for the squad. They wanted it. They were hungry. They would have been ready for the title this time.

I said it before the match. "even if we won't win we are winners already." Nobody believed in the team but look where they were? They are one of the best four teams of the whole WC.

I know, I'm rambling. But this is the first comment I'm able to and so you are getting all my blabla. Sorry, darling. :-*

Jürgen, go on!!!!!! Thank you.

*clings*

Aw baby *snuggles* But you are totally right, they did AWESOME, far better than they were expected to, and that's great. They put forth a wonderful effort (it was such a good game!) and didn't even make a mistake to lose - that was just a great goal by the Italians. So major props to them for that, and I'm so glad you have a positive attitude. *huggles* Love you!

Yes thats him. Hes so easy to find on the field. Hes the fat one. Theres actually an even fatter German player, the only black guy on the team. He only played a group 1 game though. Against Ecuador I think.

I did see most of this one because my dad had to see it and my mom watched too. She, being Italian-American, was of course rooting for her fellow people, and my dad, having grown up in Germany, of course wanted Germany to win. That's his team.

Me, being both, stayed neutral. It was interesting to say the least.

Haach *sigh* I don't want to go to Uni today. Poor Lahm. He gave his best, though I think he was a bit powered out after the last game. His poor little face. And Ballack. I don't know what's wrong with him, but something's definitely not right. He seems to lose the ball often. And every time he tries to score a goal he misses. Poor guy :( hach football is so evil T_T

My love won't fade. ♥

I'm crushed the dream is over, but life goes on. I'm glad for the ride we got, it was a crap game (two was declared our unlucky number. friggin two minutes left, two goals recieved), but seeing all the fans still cheering for Germany, showing their support and love after the game was great. *clings nevertheless*

Oh boys.

and if i hear one more guy saying our players were fat, i'll... *holds back with all effort and tries not to get all protective over her boys*

Its just that one guy. And the guy that doesnt play. Nothing wrong with being round if you can still run.
