Sep. 25th, 2005 01:29 pmSo I saw The Constant Gardener yesterday, and it was really good! I enjoyed it a lot. Don't let the name fool you, honestly, because it has nothing to do with the movie.

I had to put this outside of the cut, because I found it so amazing. The movie had such a powerful ending, an emotionally resounding finish, that when the credits came up - no one in the theater moved. The music started playing, a soft African song with a beautiful male voice singing, and we just sat there and listened. Behind the credits there were clips of African people dancing and celebrating, and it was just beautiful. For a few minutes we all just sat there, literally. It was that affecting of a movie.
You should all go see it!
