Beautiful boy on a sunlit afternoon

So I just had the most marvelous afternoon. I went out to lunch with my high school friend Andrew. Bit of background: we were best friends freshman year, then he left my school, but we stayed in touch and he ended up being my senior prom date. I've had an enormous crush on him all the time I've known him. I asked him out once, but he said he could only see us as friends.

Anyway, so we had lunch together and talked about movies and the World Cup and books. It was so much fun. Apparently I've turned him on to all of the books that he loves! Guy Gavriel Kay is his new favorite author (as he's mine!) and I've been responsible for getting him into Wheel of Time and George R. R. Martin as well. Clearly I rock. It's now his mission to find a great author that I haven't heard of *grins* Then he told me about how he went to a New York vs Barcelona soccer game last night!! I'm so jealous, it sounded like SO much fun. Eeeee. And he rooted for Germany during the World Cup too! \o/ ETA: I forgot to mention, he also picked up the tab for lunch! What a sweetheart!

Oh and I left out the most important thing - he is so fucking gorgeous. No really. I didn't think it was possible for him to get hotter. BUT HE GREW HIS HAIR OUT. OMG. I LOVE LONG HAIR ON GUYS. And it's orgasmically BEAUTIFUL on him, seriously. Just brushing his shoulders - not girly long, but boy long, you know what I mean? I had to catch my breath when I saw him, and then he was hugging me and he's so *muscled* and nnnngh. What a treat.

I feel so lucky to still be in touch with him. He only talks to like 2 people from my high school (the one he was at for just one year) and I'm one of them! It's been four years and we still talk and it's just so wonderful. I hope I never lose contact with him. He makes me happy. (And also makes me desperately want a boyfriend as awesome as him. Preferably a clone of his, please.)

So yes, I am giddy :)

Ship: Buffy/Angel - I'm such a sap for doomed true love. Well, in this case. I loved them from the beginning and have never shaken that affection.
Episode: There are so many! Yikes! It depends on the reason. Graduation Day (both parts) is definitely high on the list.

Queer as Folk

Character: Brian fucking Kinney :D
Ship: Brian/Justin, of course!!
Episode: Well QaF is lame and doesn't name their episodes. 510 was INCREDIBLE, I think that's my favorite.

Veronica Mars

Character: Logan
Ship: Logan/Veronica
Episode: For some reason, I don't remember specific episodes of VMars by name or anything. I've basically seen each season once. But the season 1 finale was fantastic.

The X-Files

Character: Mulder - who doesn't love him?
Ship: Mulder/Scully
Episode: Man that's tough. Um. My answer for this has always been Triangle, so I'll go with that again. What a fun episode!
