It's just a little crush

Today I spent 6 hours being taught how to be an ~*ethical scientist*~. I had to get there at 8:45. On Saturday morning. You can imagine the vastness of my displeasure. However! I magically lucked out with an intelligent and lively group of students who actually carried out an interesting and thought-provoking discussion. I met some new folks and generally had about as much fun as you can at a marathon ethics course. Yay for transmutation of expected evils!

This evening I went to Francisco's with Steffen and Kate and we all drank beer and ate Indian food and watched Star Trek. It was, all in all, the best idea ever. I'm so glad I found them here. ♥

Firstly, my friend bunnymcfoo is once again organizing a true holiday miracle - she's raising funds to buy warm winter clothing for the kids at a local shelter. Her generosity and warmth blow my mind, and last time this was a rousing success, so let's make it so again! You can read about the project and donate here. Every little bit helps!

Secondly, DEATHLY HALLOWS TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I don't think about HP for a while, then the hype for the new movie or book starts and I'm like OMG OMG OMG OMG EEEEEEE. Those of you who have been around know that my heart belongs to Harry/Hermione and Remus/Sirius (the former mostly as best friends until the end of the earth, the latter as tragic doomed true love OTP OTP OTPPPP), and so I have pretty much no problem with the fact that the coverage of the movies seem to be like LOOK AT DAN AND EMMA BEING CUTE. :DDD I adooore them omg. Go watch the trailer! Revel in its TOTAL AWESOME! I am seriously super pumped. I think I should read the book again. I never reread it! I was just... overwhelmed. But god it was good.
